My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship Program

MyCAA is a career development and employment assistance program sponsored by the Department of Defense. MyCAA provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification or Associate degree in a portable career field.

The Associate degree programs that MyCAA may be used toward at CTU include:

Associate of Science in Accounting
Associate of Science in Business Administration
Associate of Science in Information Technology

To qualify for MyCAA, you must be a spouse of an active duty servicemember at a pay grade of E1-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O2, have successfully completed high school, and have the ability to request tuition assistance while your military sponsor is on Title 10 military orders. MyCAA is also available to spouses of activated National Guard or Reserve servicemembers in these same pay grades.

Counseling services are also available through MyCAA to help military spouses identify federal, state and local financial assistance, career options and resources to help when attending or returning to school.

By visiting the MyCAA website (http://mycaa.militaryonesource.mil/mycaa*) you can find more information about the program requirements, set up your account, and begin the application process.
